Archetype of the King
The Emperor represents a confidence in the worthiness of one’s own authority to make decisions and sustain systems. He works to establish order and keep chaos out of his kingdom.
The Emperor’s Shadow
Overvaluing the preservation and establishment of order can cause the Emperor to lose flexibility and resist change. He may stop questioning what he knows and view anything contrary as a threat. The greater the walls to his kingdom become, the more painful and difficult it will be for him if they need to crumble.
